General Cargo Terminal: This terminal has a marginal wharf, 370 meters long and 22.5 m wide with a reinforced concrete structure, it has a depth of 12.70 m (design) at MSL, has two berths and as its name suggests, this is where loading and unloading of general cargo and bulk cargo is done.
It can accommodate two medium-sized boats, 1,300’. approximately. It has two warehouses for handling cargo in transit with a total area of 11,850.0 m2. The port has an outdoor storage area of approximately 3.0 hectares . Vessels can berth both port side or starboard.
The dock for general cargo has rubber defenses to protect the ship and the wharf and has a maximum draft of 12.60 meters.
Container Terminal: Has a marginal wharf of 240 mts built with precast elements of reinforced concrete. It has a depth of 13.35 m at MSL. It includes sufficient space to moor a second generation vessel of 244.0 m in length. 2.30 hectares of yard are available for storage of containers and / or for storing general cargo with a total capacity of 1,500 TEUs and 3,000 TEUs in transit.
The terminal has a rail-mounted Gantry crane with a capacity of 40 tonnes using a Spreader and 45.0 with a hook and 100’ of reach. Vessels can berth both port side or starboard. The port has equipment for frontal handling of containers of 20', 35’ and 40'. The volume of cargo handled at the General Cargo and Container berths ranges between 0.5 and 1.2 million tons per year.
Liquid Cargo Terminal: It has a Wharf of the “Caballete” type (Duque de Alba) with a depth of 13.35 m at MSL, it is a berth for one single tanker with a maximum capacity of 25,000 DWT. It has a storage area of 1.09 hectares where the tanks are installed – these are owned by their users. Like the other terminals, berthing is possible from both sides of the ship. The nominal length of the berth is of 500 to 600 feet. Pipelines for loading and unloading liquid products are installed and are owned by the users of the terminal.
Bananas Terminal: It has a pier called Duque de Alba, which is used as a specialized berth for the shipment of products packaged in boxes, especially bananas. According to design, the depth is 10.0 m. It is equipped with conveyor belts with four loaders that lead to the storage areas of the ship. It has a support area of 1.55 hectares which includes a cellar of 2,500 m².
Warehouses and yards: Currently the Port has 80,000 square feet of open storage yards, of which 23,000 sq meters correspond to the storage area for containers, the rest is for storage of general cargo that requires no protection against the weather.
General Cargo yard: With a storage area of 16344.0 m² for the exclusive use of general cargo.
Container yard: For storage of containers, has an area of 23,000 m² including areas reserved for transit, has sufficient capacity for 1.500 TEUs.
Civil Maintenance yard: With a hard surface area of 6,556.52 square meters, used by the maintenance workshops for various activities and storage of vehicles in transit.
Lighthouses: A main lighthouse (El Cardon), which serves as a guide to get towards the Port and a set of lighthouses and / or towers for alignment (day / night).

Lighthouse No. 1 and no. 2:

Known as the alignment towers to mark the center of the outer Channel.

Known as the alignment towers to mark the first part of the inner Channel.

Known as the alignment towers to mark the second part of the inner Channel.

Lighthouse "C":
|
Known as Lighthouse El Cardón, and indicates the approach or proximity to the Port, visible from the sea from a distance of 10 miles away under appropriate weather conditions. Its torch is of the rotational type and its level is + 26.55 m above sea level.
