Wharf:

The port has a concrete marginal wharf with an approximate length of 110 meters, with an average depth at high tide of 4,25 meters and at low tide 2.49. In addition, it has a waiting area (anchorage ) located at a distance of 0,6 miles of the lighthouse, with a depth of 24 to 26 meters. The operations area (anchorage) is located at  400 meters of the wharf and has a depth of 12 meters. The ocean floor is appropriate for anchorage, which allows for safe operations and an access channel signalized with visible buoys all the way until the wharf.
The wharf has a double purpose: to provide services to tourists, and to sport and artisan fishing.


WAREHOUSES AND PATIOS:
The port has two warehouses for cargo storage  located within the harbor enclosure.

The port has an outdoor storage yard that is readily accessible for cargo movements and handling, with an area of10.000,00 mts2.

INCLINE FOR YACHTS:
It has an incline for yachts, that is available at any time of the year for national and  international tourist and sport fishing vessels.
Services.
Some of the services the port offers are: double purpose quays, tourist services, customs, pilotage and harbor agents.  In the year 2006 the Fishing Terminal “SHIN KOMATSU” was inaugurated, offering the following services are sold: Dockage, Painting, Welding, Electricity, Water, Lubricants, Ice, among others.


Services provided to the vessels:
These are offered during an official visit to the ship by authorities of the following entities: Migration, Customs, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture (MAGFOR), Aquatic Transport (DGTA) Pilot, Harbor Agent, Harbor Security, Harbor authorities.  They board the ship in the anchorage area and later allow access to land so that the cruise ship and its passengers can develop their activities on land, this includes visits for Shopping and cultural visits to different cities and sites of interest.


Harbor services:
The harbor services can be obtained directly through harbor agents, being the main operators Agencias Vassalli, S.A. (AVASA) and Agency E. Palazio y Cia Ltda for attention to cruise ships.  They can also be obtained directly with the small National Tour Operators.  This includes services such as: ramp, hauling vessels out and lowering them back into the water, lifting vessels with cranes for repair, freight elevator, drinkable water, electrical energy, etc.


Certifications:
The Harbor facilities fulfill Code PBIP, the Safe Port Certification (given in 2004) approved for the following:
• Cruise ships
• Bulk ships.
• General cargo ships.

Oriented towards giving the best possible service to the international tourists.

Opening hours:
The port works with a schedule designed to attend the arrival of the cruise ships, at whatever time of day or night they arrive . The operations and administrative personnel works:
•Monday to Friday from 7:30 A.M. to 5:30 p.m.
